Atomic structure
The structure of an atom consists of a nucleus at the centre containing neutrons and protons, while electrons revolve around the nucleus. Atomic number of an atom is the number of electrons or protons in an atom. Mass number is the sum of the number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus.
